BOOKING DEPOSIT

Prior to booking, we require a 50% deposit for bookings of three days or more and a 30% deposit for half day and hourly bookings. Bookings will become guaranteed when we receive your deposit.

We accepts cash, checks, venmo or credit payments. A 3.5% transaction fee will be added to square or PayPal transactions. 

REMAINING PAYMENT

Full payment is required prior to any data delivery.- Full/Remaining payment is required prior to any delivery of master recordings.  Reference tracks can be acquired via Mp3 files but no high resolutions files will be released until full payment of recording services has commenced.- Full payment is required prior to any data delivery.

CANCELLATION / REFUNDS

50% of the deposit will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than two week prior to the session. 

Deposits are non-refundable if the cancellation is made less than one week prior to the session; however, clients can request to reschedule. (Please read the rescheduling policy). 

Transaction fees on refunds may be deducted from the refund amount.

RESCHEDULING 

A client may request to reschedule the session one time, if the client notifies The Keep by phone or e-mail  more than 48 hours prior to the session. However, the Studio decides and reschedules the session dates according to studio availability. Multi-day sessions may not be rescheduled immediately, or may be split into nonconsecutive days or times, due to a busy studio calendar. 

The Keep will not reschedule the studio for a second time if the client is not present at the first rescheduled time; however, the client may purchase a new studio time.

STUDIO PROCEDURES

The Keep sessions start and end at the scheduled time, whether the client is present or not.

For multi-day bookings, all recording setup (including studio equipment and client’s equipment) may stay set up for the following day if the sessions are on consecutive days.

The Keep is not responsible for items left on the premises.

The Keep assigns a house engineer for each session, and he or she operates all the sessions.

For sessions with large groups of people attending, a client may request an assistant engineer and the Studio may assign an assistant engineer at an extra cost. The Keep will not accept outside engineers that a client brings to the session without prior notification when the client is booking the session.

The Keep is responsible for data storage during the sessions and projects. Clients are requested to bring a hard drive to take a copy when your project is completed for their own archival.  

The Keep will archive recording, mixing, or mastering data for a period of 2 years but will not guarantee that the data is kept beyond that time.  

Booked studio time also includes listening, bouncing, uploading, or transferring data. The client may be charged for the extra time if the session exceeds the booked studio time.

Client agrees to all Policies and Procedures when booking a studio time.
